What Lamsa is
Lamsa is a booking service. Salons, barbershops and spas in Lebanon publish their services, their team and their opening hours here, and you use those pages to reserve a time. Lamsa keeps the diary; the appointment itself is between you and the salon.
The salon is the merchant
Each salon decides what it offers, how long a service takes, what it costs and who performs it. The prices on a salon's page are that salon's own. Any amount shown in Lebanese pounds is a conversion of the salon's US dollar price at the exchange rate recorded when you booked, and that rate stays fixed for that appointment.
Lamsa takes no payment
You pay the salon directly, at the salon. Lamsa does not collect, hold or transfer the money for your appointment, takes no commission on it, and processes no refunds. Salons pay Lamsa a subscription for the software; that arrangement is between the salon and us, and it has no effect on what you pay for a service.
Bookings and accounts
You can book as a guest with your name and a phone number, and we give you a private link so you can see, reschedule or cancel that appointment. Salon owners and their staff use an account with a password, and are responsible for keeping it — and their team's access to it — secure. Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been used without permission.
Fair use
Please book only appointments you intend to keep, give real contact details, and do not try to flood, scrape or break into the service. We may refuse or remove a booking, a listing or an account that is being used to harass a salon or another user, to advertise something else, or to break Lebanese law.
Availability
We work to keep Lamsa running, but we do not promise it will be available without interruption. Features change over time, and a salon can stop taking online bookings at any moment — when it does, its page says so.
Our responsibility
Lamsa is not a party to your appointment and does not carry out the service. We are not responsible for what a salon charges, how it treats you, whether it honours a booking, or the result of any treatment. What we are responsible for is running the booking service itself with reasonable care. Nothing here takes away a right Lebanese consumer law gives you.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon, and the courts of Beirut have jurisdiction over any dispute about them. If we change the terms we will update the date at the top of this page; continuing to use Lamsa after that means the new version applies.
