Cancellation Policy

The salon's policy comes first

Every appointment is governed by the policy of the salon you booked with. Salons set their own notice period and their own rules on late arrivals, deposits and missed appointments. That policy appears on the salon's page, and again on the booking form above the box you tick before confirming. The general rules below apply where a salon has not written its own.

The notice period

Each salon sets a cutoff — a number of hours before the appointment starts. Up to that moment you can cancel or move the booking yourself. Once it has passed, the online buttons stop working and any change has to be agreed with the salon directly. The cutoff counts back from the appointment's start time in Beirut time.

Cancelling or rescheduling online

When you book, the confirmation page shows a private link to your appointment — save it, and keep it to yourself, because anyone who has it can change or cancel the booking. If you gave an email address we send the link there too. Open it to see the booking, move it to another time the salon has free, or cancel it. Use that link rather than a message: a change made through it reaches the salon's diary straight away, so the time you give up is offered to someone else.

Late arrivals and missed appointments

A salon holds a chair and a professional for you, so a missed appointment costs it the slot. Whether a late cancellation or a no-show carries a fee, and whether the salon will still see you if you arrive late, is the salon's decision under its own policy. Lamsa takes no payment for appointments and so charges no cancellation fee of its own.

If the salon cancels

A salon may have to cancel or move an appointment — illness, a closure, a professional who is suddenly unavailable. It should tell you as soon as it can and offer another time. Lamsa cannot guarantee an appointment on a salon's behalf.

If something goes wrong

Raise it with the salon first: it holds the booking, the money and the decision. If that does not settle it, contact us and we will look at what the booking record shows. Our Terms of Service explain the limits of our role.
